Description
A nutritious quinoa porridge topped with fresh fruits.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup quinoa
- 2 cups water or milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup mixed fruits (berries, banana, apple)
- 1/4 cup nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the quinoa under cold water.
- In a pot, combine quinoa, water or milk, and salt.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in honey or maple syrup and cinnamon.
- Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Serve topped with mixed fruits and nuts if desired.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Use any fruits you prefer.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
