Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, food coloring, and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- Form dough into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
