Description

A delicious and healthy dish made from roasted cauliflower steaks drizzled with tahini sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Water, as needed for thinning the tahini

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the steaks.
  5. Place the steaks on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. In a bowl, mix tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, and water to achieve desired consistency.
  7. Once the cauliflower is golden brown, remove from the oven.
  8. Drizzle tahini sauce over the roasted cauliflower steaks before serving.
