Description
Roast a whole chicken with an orange glaze in your oven.
Ingredients

- 1 whole chicken (4 lbs)
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons orange zest
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix orange juice, zest, garlic, soy sauce, honey, and ginger in a bowl.
- Place chicken in a roasting pan.
- Pour sauce over your chicken.
- Bake for 75 minutes.
- Baste chicken every 20 minutes.
- Remove chicken when internal temperature hits 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Rest chicken for 10 minutes before you carve it.
Notes
- Use fresh oranges.
- Pat chicken skin dry before you add sauce.
- Save pan juices for gravy.
