Ingredients

  • 200g chocolate biscuits
  • 100g unsalted butter, melted
  • 400g sweetened condensed milk
  • 200g brown sugar
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp alcohol-free vanilla extract
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • Sea salt flakes, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. Crush the chocolate biscuits in a food processor.
  4. Mix the crushed biscuits with melted butter.
  5. Press the biscuit mixture into the base of the dish.
  6. In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, brown sugar, and butter.
  7. Cook over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
  8. Add vanilla extract and stir well.
  9. Pour the caramel over the biscuit base and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for 20 minutes.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  12. Melt dark chocolate and spread over the cooled caramel layer.
  13. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
  14. Chill in the fridge until set.
