Description

Prepare pan-seared scallops with your spicy Cajun cream sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat your scallops dry.
  2. Season your scallops with Cajun spice.
  3. Heat oil in your skillet.
  4. Sear scallops for two minutes per side.
  5. Remove scallops from your pan.
  6. Melt butter in your pan.
  7. Add garlic and cook for one minute.
  8. Pour in cream and broth.
  9. Simmer until your sauce thickens.
  10. Stir in cheese.
  11. Put scallops back in your pan.
  12. Garnish with parsley.
