Description

Shakshuka Wraps with Feta is a delicious and satisfying meal that combines eggs, tomatoes, and spices wrapped in a tortilla.


Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 tortillas
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft.
  3. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Make 4 wells in the sauce and crack an egg into each well.
  7. Cover and cook until eggs are set, about 5 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle feta cheese on top.
  9. Warm tortillas in another skillet.
  10. Spoon shakshuka onto tortillas and wrap tightly.
