Description

Delicious and easy slice and bake cookies that you can prepare in advance.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Add in the vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Divide the dough in half and shape into logs.
  8. Wrap the logs in plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour.
  9. Slice the chilled logs into 1/4 inch rounds.
  10. Place the slices on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
