- 1 tablespoon milk
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Fresh herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
- Whisk the egg yolks with milk, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the yolk mixture.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Cover the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes until set.
- Slide the omelette onto a plate and add herbs if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh eggs for the best texture.
- Cook on low heat to prevent browning.
- Serve immediately for best results.
