Ingredients

  • 16 ounces egg noodles
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 15 ounces low sodium tomato sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cups low sodium shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Boil the noodles until soft.
  3. Drain the water.
  4. Cook the beef in a pan.
  5. Remove the fat.
  6. Add tomato sauce and salt.
  7. Mix sour cream and cottage cheese in a bowl.
  8. Put half the noodles in a dish.
  9. Pour the beef over them.
  10. Add the rest of the noodles.
  11. Cover with the cream mixture.
  12. Top with cheese.
  13. Bake for 30 minutes.
