Ingredients

- 400g spaghetti
- 300g ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 400g canned tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 celery stalk, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Cook until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in canned tomatoes and tomato paste.
- Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve sauce over spaghetti and garnish with basil.
