Description

A rich and moist chocolate pudding with tender pears.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 150g sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 100g all-purpose flour
  • 2 ripe pears, peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a bowl over simmering water.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk sugar and eggs until pale.
  4. Stir the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
  5. Add flour, salt, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  6. Fold in the diced pears.
  7. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until set but still soft in the center.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
