- 12 ounces pasta
- 1 pound smoked sausage sliced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of water.
- Cook the pasta until tender.
- Drain the water and set the pasta aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet.
- Add the sliced sausage to the pan.
- Brown the sausage for five minutes.
- Whisk the honey and soy sauce and garlic in a bowl.
- Pour the sauce over the sausage.
- Simmer the sauce for two minutes.
- Stir the cooked pasta into the skillet.
- Coat the pasta well with the sauce.
- Top with parsley and red pepper flakes.
Notes
- Use low sodium soy sauce to control salt.
- Choose any short pasta shape you like.
- Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for three days.
