Description

Delicious meatballs coated in a sticky pomegranate glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. In a saucepan, combine pomegranate juice, honey, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil.
  6. Mix cornstarch with water and add to the sauce. Stir until thickened.
  7. Coat cooked meatballs in the pomegranate glaze.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • Serve with rice or vegetables.
