Description

Sticky Tamarind Beef Ribs are tender and flavorful ribs coated in a sweet and tangy tamarind sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef ribs
  • 1/2 cup tamarind paste
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix tamarind paste, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the beef ribs in the sauce mixture.
  4. Place the ribs in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  5. Bake in the oven for 2 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and brush with additional sauce.
  7. Bake for another 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight.
  • Serve with rice or vegetables.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
