Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 150g sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 100g ground hazelnuts
  • 50g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a bowl over simmering water.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and mix well.
  5. Stir in ground hazelnuts, flour, vanilla extract, and salt.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are set but the center is slightly soft.
  8. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
