Ingredients

- 2 filet mignon steaks (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Take the filet mignon out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking.
- Season both sides with salt, pepper, and rosemary.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Add minced garlic and butter to the skillet and baste the steaks.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes for medium-rare.
- Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

- Pair with a side of vegetables or mashed potatoes.
